The Andrea Gail was a commercial fishing boat that left the port of Gloucester, Massachusets, on September 20, 1991. The 6 sailors on board wanted to catch swordfish off Newfoundland. They never came back. It was suspected that the boat went down in a violent storm, called "Perfect Storm" by meteorologists. This was the template for the bestselling novel of the same name, which was also made into a film in Hollywood.

The RC model is equipped with a laser-cut frame construction made of wood and large-area fuselage parts, so that the fuselage is built quite quickly. This model convinces with its countless details. The kit contains the shaft with stern tube, propeller and rudder for operation. All fittings and a detailed blueprint with many sketches are included.
