Beier electronic Optokoppler adaptor OKA-4

The OKA-4 optocoupler adapter has been specially designed for our USM sound modules to trigger the additional sounds through a variety of voltages and circuit variations.

There are 4 separate inputs and outputs on the adapter. The output turns on a sound on the sound module as soon as a voltage of approx. 2.0 - 15.0V is applied to the corresponding input. The polarity of the input voltage does not need to be considered. Therefore, the adapter can, for example, be connected directly parallel to a motor, in order to trigger an additional sound as soon as the motor is running, regardless of the direction.

The 4 outputs can be selected as plus or minus outputs, so the adapter can be used for all our sound modules.

The inputs and outputs are connected via solder connections
